Where it started

The problem with most desk accessories is the materials.

Plastic that feels cheap the moment you touch it. Wood veneer that chips within a year. Finishes that mark, fade, and remind you of the corners that were cut. The entire category had accepted a standard we refused to accept.

We decided to work the other way. Start with the material — solid walnut, sustainable bamboo, brushed aluminum — and let that determine what we could make. Not what the factory found easiest to produce. What we would actually want on our own desks.
